The Global Green Academy is led by individuals with experience in projects that have changed the world: Eva Truuverk, the initiator of World Cleanup Day; Kai Isand, organizer of global hackathons; Mikk Vainik, the founder of a national innovation accelerator; and experts with international experience in their respective fields, including Ester Eomois, Helen Sooväli-Sepping, Ede Schank-Tamkivi, Helen Aavisto, Madeleine Tults, and Aleksandra Keskkonen.

All Estonian universities are involved in launching GGA and conducting the program.
